AMSA-UNS in General
Asian Medical Students' Association of Sebelas Maret University (AMSA-UNS) is a part of the official organization that is known locally and internationally as "AMSA Indonesia/International". For almost 16 years, AMSA-UNS has been an active non-profit organization. With the same dreams and goals of every medical student, we strive to make small changes for our surroundings. Keeping in mind, our main vision: Knowledge, Action, and Friendship : We share our knowledge, Initiate social activities/community services, and Create bonds with every other medical students all over the world.

Academic and Research
Arranging academical programs for AMSA-UNS members.
Local Academic Training
LAT (Local Academic Training) is a program from AMSA-Indonesia that has been mandated to AMSA-UNS Academic and Research division every year. LAT invites several speakers to give paper or poster training, and also giving extra medical education for all AMSA-UNS members to improve and broaden our knowledge and skills in medical field.
Community Outreach
Responsible for arranging every of social activities AMSA-UNS holds.
AMUNISI (AMSA-UNS in Social Action)
Community Outreach usually organize AMUNISI (AMSA-UNS in Social Action) once in a tenure. We would go to a school or an orphanage and educate the children there about healthy and hygienic lifestyle by playing interactive games. We hope that this action that we take would improve children's health and well-being.
External Affairs
Facilitator of national and international participations.
Hospital Visit
Hospital Visit is an annual event held by External Affairs division. In this event, AMSA-UNS will be visiting several hospitals, to take a closer look on life in hospitals. As future practitioners, we must be familiar with hospitals' environment. Members are given the chance to see the facilities such as rooms and medical equipments like X-ray machines, CT Scanners, etc. Afterwards, there'll be lectures given by the professionals about common health problems in our community.
.Publication and Promotion
In charge of the publication of AMSA-UNS and all of its designs.
Design and Photo Taking Training
DPT (Design and Photo Taking Training) is an annual program by Publication and Promotion division. After several years of absence, this tenure continues to bring this program to life again. Each year we pick different topic and method to teach AMSA-UNS members to either skilfully design or take a professional picture, by inviting an experienced speaker to teach us step-by-step design or photography.
Finance
Organizing all incomings and expenditures of AMSA-UNS.
CASHING (Cash and Funding)
Cashing is a brand-new weekly idea we brought to our tenure. In this program, we sell things every week to provide for the Travel Grant project (where we pay for the plane tickets of our most active member to one national event (s)he picks) and other needs of AMSA-UNS. This program aims to train our entrepreneurship.
Membership and Development
Responsible for human resource and members' bonding.
Welcoming Party
Welcoming Party is an annual event which is coordinated by Membership and Development division of AMSA-UNS. The purpose of this event is to welcome the new members of AMSA-UNS to the new family. In this event, new members are introduced to the Executive Board, Vice Executive Board, and other divisions' members. Also, new members are divided into division that has been assigned in accordance with their choice based on the result of the interview. For the whole tenure, this will be their division where they will work in.
